The Geological Survey of India Scientific Officers’ Association (GSISOA), established in 1970 and registered under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act, 1961, represents the interests of scientific officers of Geological Survey of India (GSI), an attached office of the Ministry of Mines, Government of India, headquartered in Kolkata. With members spread across various geoscientific divisions, regions, and specializations, GSISOA serves as a unified voice for officers involved in the core geoscientific functions of the organization.
